Braille Books from the Braille Superstore are braille books designed for use by children or adults who are blind or have low vision. Over 500 books for children are available, including books by Dr. Seuss, Margaret Wise Brown, Eric Carle, and Robert Munsch; books about Madeline, Curious George, the Berenstain Bears, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Franklin the Turtle, Mr. Gumpy, and the tiny town of Chewandswallow; Mother Goose nursery rhymes; and classic fairy tales. Books for older children include titles in such series as the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, the Magic Tree House, the Boxcar Children, the Wizard of Oz, and Anne of Green Gables; biographies of Helen Keller, Louis Braille, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln; and novels such as Charlotte's Web, Sarah Plain and Tall, Beezus and Ramona, Black Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Little Women, Heidi, and Treasure Island. Books for adults include best-sellers by Danielle Steel, John Grisham, Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell, and Robin Cook; classic literature by Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Jules Verne, Arthur Conan Doyle, and William Shakespeare; Star Trek titles; cookbooks; and books about guide dogs. OPTIONS: Adult books are available in either Grade 1 or Grade 2 braille. Children's books are also available with text interleaved with each braille page, with or without illustrations, allowing a sighted parent, teacher or older sibling to read along with a child.
