Icon A1 Wheelchair

The Icon A1 Wheelchair is a modular manual wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This wheelchair can be adjusted to fit the user's changing body and needs. The suspension can be set to the user's exact weight or eliminated, and the compression and rebound can be tuned to reduce fatigue. FRAME: Fully adjustable rear suspension with center of gravity at 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 inches. The wheelbase is available with widths of 13 to 21 inches in 1-inch increments. Other options include Icon Sideguards or ADI Carbon Fiber Fixed Sideguards. SEAT (WxD): (12-19) x (14-18) inches (in 1-inch increments). Molded laminate pan is standard; Icon carbon fiber seat is optional. Available front seat height (floor to edge of front seat pan): 16 to 23 inches in 0.5-inch increments. Available rear seat height (floor to top of rear edge of seat pan): 14.5 to 23 inches in 0.5-inch increments. Available backrest height: 10 to 18 inches in 1-inch increments, with standard Icon back support or optional ADI carbon fiber or aluminum contoured back supports. Backrest to center of rear wheel. UPHOLSTERY: Nylon back upholstery. BRAKES: Optional scissor brakes, push-to-lock brakes, or ADI variable lever, para-lever, or e-Brake disc brakes. CASTERS: 4-inch diameter rollerblade-style casters. Icon caster forks are standard. Options include Frog Legs Epic Lexan Soft Roll, Frog Legs Epic Aluminum Soft Roll, Frog Legs Ultra Sport Suspension Forks, and Frog Legs Uni-Tine Single-Sided Forks. WHEELS: 2 Spinergy wire wheels with diameter of 24 or 25 inches. Optional wheels include Sun Fusion 16, Spinergy SPOX, Spinergy LX, Round Betty Dino, and Topolino Carbon Fiber.
