The Amplified Answering Machine With Slow Playback, model VM150, is a hearing aid compatible amplified answering machine designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Messages can be amplified as much as 40 decibels (dB) in volume, and played back at slower speeds to increase intelligibility, while HDS (High Definition Sound) technology sharpens and clarifies words. Call Intercept allows the user to answer or pick up call and talk while the caller is recording a message. The unit has a bright LED display and an output jack for a telecoil or neck-loop for a hearing aid or cochlear implant. Other features includes a prerecorded greeting message in English, French, or Spanish; 40 minutes of recording time; remote access; and toll saver. POWER: Uses household current, with battery backup for power outage. DIMENSIONS: LED display is 0.5 inches high. WARRANTY: One year.
