AAC Keys is a keyboard interface and mouse emulation program designed to enable the user to control a computer using an alternative and augmentative communication device. Implementing the common GIDEI (General Input Device Emulating Interface) commands, this software receives commands through the computer's serial port and translates them into keystrokes and mouse moves, giving the user full control of the computer from another device. This software is available in English and German versions for Windows and in English only for Macintosh computers. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Windows-based computers, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4, or Windows 2000 operating systems; for Macintosh computers OS X operating sytem is required.
