The Columbia TheraPedic Explorer Mobility Base, model 2100, is a stroller base for a detachable car seat designed for use by children with balance disabilities, neurological disabilities, and severe physical disabilities. This stroller base fits the Columbia TheraPedic Positioning Seat (see separate entry). The base folds for storage, and has a Tilt-In-Space feature that allows the seat to be tilted in any of five positions in the base. FRAME (HxLxW): 37 x 47 x 22.5 inches when open; 11 x 41 x 22.5 inches when folded. The frame is made of blue powder-coated steel with rubber grips. Angles of tilt, 30, 40, or 50 degrees. WHEELS: Semi-pneumatic tires (7 inches in front, 10 inches in rear). FOOTRESTS: Height-adjustable footrest with leg drop of 5 to 16 inches. CAPACITY: From 20 to 102 pounds. WEIGHT: 22 pounds. WARRANTY: One year warranty against defects.
